Start your visit at the Heyward House, the Official Welcome Center of Bluffton, located in the heart of Old Town’s Nationally Registered Historic District.  Pick up free maps, information, local menus and coupons, or take a guided tour of this well-preserved antebellum house-museum for a nominal fee.  The Welcome Center is located at 70 Boundary Street, at the corners of Bridge Street and Boundary Street.

Spend an afternoon strolling down streets lined with ancient oaks draped in Spanish moss.  Browse through antique shops, art galleries, and quaint boutiques on Calhoun Street’s eclectic art district, or explore the pristine May River estuary and marshes by kayak.  Don’t miss sampling some classic Low Country cuisine at some of the coastal area’s best restaurants, where you’ll find the freshest seafood for miles around.

Bluffton hosts many annual festivals and cultural events, including the Arts and Seafood Festival and the Bluffton Village Fest.  Be sure to check the Calendar of Events to see what’s happening while you’re in town.
